COMMUNIST YOUTH LEAGUE-INTERNATIONAL PHYSICIANS CENTER CONFERENCE

June 9 -11,2006 five members of the National Physicians Center for Family Resources (NPC) spoke at the International Sino-American Adolescent Health Forum in Beijing, China.

The conference was co-sponsored by the Communist Youth League: Beijing Committee, Beijing Children’s Hospital, Capital University of Medical Sciences, Beijing Adolescent Legal and Psychological Consultation Center, Beijing Forestry University and Capitol Normal University.

Participants included more than 700 physicians, professors, psychologists, health educators, government leaders and hospital officials. Topics presented focused on the physical and emotional well-being of adolescents; avoiding high-risk behaviors; abstinence and the importance of marriage; suicide, depression and youth culture.
